The fork will come in two models with the main difference being the remote lock out on the “RL” version. Also notable is the post mount disc brake standard. The new version has 32mm stanchions and has shed the cantilever mounts of the previous version. Well, it is time for me to eat some crow and admit I was wrong because low and behold I was sent a link to RST’s site that shows an updated RST M-29. In my recent post about what happened to old Top Ten List products, the top pick for 2007, the RST M-29, was lamented for having disappeared off the face of the earth, save for some close out priced frame/fork deals.
